biology experience in DNA and RNA extractions from animal 
tissues; cloning and protein expression; Protein
extraction, SDS-PAGE and Western blotting, Immunohistochemistry,
immunocytochemistry and microscopy (fluorescence and confocal microscope). In microbiology,
isolation and purification of actinomycetes and other bacterial cultures. Bioinformatics data analysis of
metagenomic sequencing-NGS-based 16S rRNA sequencing; analysis of
phosphoproteomics data using Perseus software. Experience onboard cruises and
other field trips (marine and freshwater), sample collection, and preservation of
water, sediment and biological samples for various analyses. Analysis of
different biogeochemical parameters in seawater including Dissolved oxygen, pH,
Total organic carbon, Nutrients, Alkalinity, etc.; Trace metal analysis of
seawater, sediments and biological samples using HR-ICP-MS. Experience in handling and sea urchins, dissections and microcosm experiments.
