Conduct research in marine ecosystems and biogeochemical cycles with a focus on the
following; Past Ocean Circulation and Climate Dynamics, Marine Carbon Sinks, Ocean
and Metals in the Ocean, Ocean Nutrients Dynamics and Productivities, Ocean Health, and Paleo-Oceanography. I also research the nature of the Nigerian
coastal marine environment, monitoring the physicochemical parameters,
ocean processes, topography of the Nigerian seabed, and deposits on or under the
seabed.
Seawater and how they interact with the outer atmosphere and sea floor. Effect of pollution on the marine environment. Ocean resources and natural products that can be used for medicine and other (user\'s). Then, I teach and publish my research findings.
