Collecting and organizing historical marine data from
various physical and digital sources.
Digitizing paper-based or analog marine records into
electronic formats for ease of access and preservation.
Verifying and validating digitized data to ensure accuracy
and integrity.
Integrating digitized historical data into existing Marine
Information Systems (MIMS) databases.
Assist in the efforts of
acquiring and maintaining metadata and documentation to support data
traceability and usability.
Ensure data management standards and best practices are
consistently upheld.
