  • Preserve
and label collected samples appropriately to prevent degradation or
    contamination
  • Follow
established protocols for sampling different marine environments, such as
coastal areas, open oceans, estuaries, and aquaculture facilities
  •  Gather and organize equipment and
materials needed for sample collection like water, sediment, plankton, fish, etc.

2. Laboratory analysis
  • Conduct
water quality tests including measurements of temperature, salinity, pH,
    dissolved oxygen, and nutrient concentrations
  • Perform physical, chemical, and
    biological analyses on collected samples.
  • Identify
and classify marine organisms using microscopes and taxonomic keys
3. Experiment
Assistance

5. Data
Recording and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate and detailed
records of sample collection, equipment calibration, and experimental
    procedures.

  • Record observations and measurements
in laboratory notebooks or digital databases
  • Prepare and organize data for further analysis, ensuring proper metadata documentation
