Being a Research
Officer I'm
currently a member of a project named “Monitoring the Sea Water Intrusion, Sea
Level Rise, Coastal Erosion, and Land Subsidence along Sindh and Balochistan
Coast”. As a Physical Oceanographer, my role in this project involves
conducting ocean-based observations, analysing the data derived from these
observations, and modelling the physical processes that govern ocean
activities.

Along with my
project team, we study the physical properties and dynamics of the ocean and
its interactions with the atmosphere and land. Our work involves using various
tools and techniques to observe, analyse, and model the physical processes that
govern the behaviour of the ocean. As Physical Oceanographers, we investigate a
wide range of phenomena, such as ocean currents, waves, tides, and eddies, as
well as the properties of seawater like temperature, salinity, and density. We
also explore the impacts of climate change on the ocean, including sea level
rise, ocean acidification, and changes in ocean circulation patterns.
