The focus of my work is to evaluate the
land-ocean-atmospheric interactions with reference to organic nutrients and
their impact on modifying the biological aspects of coastal waters of the Bay of
Bengal. My
area of work involves estimating the concentrations and isotopic composition of
organic nitrogen (both particulate and dissolved organic nitrogen), DIN (dissolved
inorganic nitrogen) and POC (particulate organic carbon) in the Bay of Bengal.

• Estimating the concentrations
  and isotopic composition of  Organic Nitrogen(Particulate and Dissolved),Organic Carbon( Particulate and Dissolved),  Dissolved Inorganic Carbon and Dissolved Inorganic Nitrogen using Elemental analyser coupled with Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer (EA-IRMS-Elementar, Germany).
• Exposed to oceanographic data collection with good analytical skill in biogoechemical parameters.
• Actively participated in six oceanographic cruises onboard Research vessels (Cruise NO:
  SN142, SAA001, SSK130, SSD066, ST001, SSK144)
