Activities
My current research focuses on the study of phytoplankton ecology (community structure, composition and function) in very diverse natural scenarios, like mesophotic coral, estuary and tropical Andean lakes ecosystems and urban wetlands, covering different space-time scales, and the relationship with physico-chemical properties and hydrodynamics in marine and freshwater ecosystems. Also interested in taxonomy of this wonderful algae organisms.
