Working since 2009 as a researcher at the National Institute of Fisheries Research (IIP), providing scientific knowledge for sustainable use of resources. She is involved in research with benthic fauna, sharks, rays and coastal invertebrates, making field surveys using sampling, interviews, BRUV’s, Rov’s and doing research on board of research vessel as Nansen and SA Agulhas. Now is a part of team on the development of NPOA sharks of Mozambique and NDF for some CITES species and regulation on artisanal octopus fishery
