Activities
I am an oceanographer with a special interest in social-ecological systems. In my research, I pursue to integrate local ecological knowledge with scientific knowledge to build resilient coastal-marine planning, management and conservation policies. I obtained a PhD in Ecology and Natural Resources from UFSCar (2010). Currently, I am working as a post-doctoral researcher at MaREI (ERI/UCC), developing coastal and marine science research focused on the impact of climate change on coastal environments and communities.
