For the last three years, I have been associated with the University of Sussex (UK) for their forecasting with fishers project in South India. One of the outcomes of the research project is that reliable and accurate weather information services for the artisanal fishers in South India.
I also undertake research consultant activities for coastal organisations and artisanal fishers groups.
Building inclusive society is an important motivation for me to undertake several such activities.
