I am a geologist & geochronologist specialized in sedimentology, surface processes, coastal geology, marine hazards & geoarchaeology. My major research interests are framed within the lacustrine, coastal and marine realms, with focus towards palaeoenvironmental reconstruction & event chronology (natural hazards). I am particularly interested in developing new proxies using luminescence as novel applications for palaeoseismology & event stratigraphy, coastal morpho-dynamics, source-to-sink processes, & provenance studies. I have particular interest in identifying and characterizing tsunami deposits (Tsunami Geology).
