We do research on the community dynamics of coral-macro algal phase shift in the coral reefs of Mandapam islands, Gulf of Mannar region. We do the monthly reef monitoring and collect the percentage cover data for both corals and macro algae. Also the herbivorous fish count and diversity is analyzed to see their effects on this phase-shift.

I am certified PADI advance open water diver. I am capable of doing feild work independently and have analysed the data using statisticals software like Primer 6, SPSS and PAST.
