Activities
I am interested in the ecological niche that is occupied by juvenile animals, and in how they are able to compete with adults. I have focused my studies on the developmental physiology of diving marine vertebrates, and looked at the ecology and behavior of young phocid seals. I am also interested in changes in body condition, and health with age, and in how physiological limitations are reflected in behavior.
