The use of hydroacoustics and satellite data for marine habitat classification, mapping, and for bathymetry acquisition. Scientific diving for underwater surveys, in-situ measurements, equipment deployment, underwater photography and videography. Management, analysis, modeling and visualization of spatial and spatio-temporal physicochemical and environmental parameters and decision making using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and automation using ArcObjects, Python for ArcGIS, .NET for ArcGIS, WEB GIS. Create and manage geodatabases of physicochemical and environmental parameters, data management and quality control. Use of Geographic Information Systems in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA). Participation in research expeditions / cruises. Design and development of programs and applications for the visualization and management of oceanographic data. Decision making and solution development related to software and technology. Participation in research projects funded by the European Union and national funds and representing the Oceanography Centre in conferences and meetings.
