Activities
My primary research is concerned with a better understanding of physical
processes in the marine environment, including the interaction with
biogeochemical, biological and meteorological processes - from large to
local scale phenomena, from polar to tropical oceans, from open ocean to
shelf seas. Scientifically and strategically, I have devoted some
attention to the application of novel ocean observing techniques, the
basis for innovative experimental based marine research.
