Interested in the use of artificial reefs for management of marine resources and as experimental sites for investigations into productivity and food webs. Particular emphasis on Lobster (Homarus gammarus) stock enhancement and habitat requirementsthe use of waste materials for artificial reefs (cement stabilised pulverised fuel ash and tyres) and studying reef epibenthos to develop an understanding of reef productivity. Coordination of the European Artificial Reef Research Network (EARRN) which has 50 members in 36 laboratories within the EU, and another 50 associates throughout Europe.
