Activities
The Directorate of Nature and Environment is charged with the following tasks:
Preparing, shaping, implementing and evaluating policies that lead to a sustainable healthy living environment for people and nature in Aruba, with a central focus on preserving, protecting and improving natural and environmental qualities.
The primacy of the DNM includes the following thematic fields of action:
- Waste;
- Biodiversity and Ecology;
- Hazardous Substances;
- Climate change and Air quality;
- Soil quality;
- Water quality;
- (Ecosystem-based) Businesses.
