The Pacific Disaster Center has entered into a contract with the National Disaster Warning Center (NDWC), Thailand, to provide Technical Assistance to the Thai Center in order to enhance NDWC's Disaster Management capabilities, systems, and practices.
Under this contract, PDC and its partners - Lockheed Martin Information Technology, Sun Microsystems, and Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) - will provide NDWC with technical solutions, systems integration, and human resources training to achieve its strategic objective of establishing a scalable and world-class disaster management and emergency communications facility.
