Seventh Meeting of the GOOS Steering Committee
Summary
The Seventh Meeting of the GOOS Steering Committee is being hosted by INVEMAR in Santa Marta, Colombia.
It will be preceded by a Regional Workshop for Latin and South America on Tuesday 12 June, open to all Steering Committee meeting participants.
Meeting objectives:
- GOOS Strategy finalization
- Engage partners around end-to-end delivery from observations to users
- Review status of the observing system
- Implementation Plan development, including new approaches to persistent blocks, and scoping of new initiatives contributing to Strategic Objectives
- Motivated and enabled Steering Committee
