Participation
The IOC Executive Council consists of 40 Member States including those Member States represented by the Chairperson and the five Vice-Chairpersons. The EC exercises the responsibilities delegated to it by the Assembly and acts on its behalf in the implementation of decisions of the Assembly. The EC makes recommendations on future actions by the Assembly.
Its provisional agenda and timetable are prepared in agreement with the IOC Officers during their meeting with the senior management of the Secretariat (see the January 2024 Officers meeting).
The Executive Summary IOC/EC-57/SR Prov. contains the narrative report of the session, the adopted decisions & resolutions and the statements of the Member States & Observers.

Delegates welcome: On Monday 24th June, please access UNESCO Headquarters through the main Fontenoy entrance at 7 Pl. de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris. Registration will be open from 9:00 to 11:00 am , and 2:00-3:00 pm.
From 25th onwards, dplease access through Ségur gate at 125 avenue de Suffren, 75007 Paris. Registration will be open from 8:00 to 16:30 on 25th June 2024 and from 08:30 to 11:00 am on 26-27 June 2024. Please contact the secretariat in case you arrive outside the registration hours.
