Sixteenth Session of the IOC-FAO Intergovernmental Panel on Harmful Algal Blooms (IPHAB)
Summary

The Sixteenth Session of the IPHAB will be held 27-29 March 2023 at FAO Headquarters in Rome. It in particular will discuss the GlobalHAB Research Programme; a Global Assessment of HAB Events; capacity building; Ciguatera, a plan for improved research and management; Improving HAB forecasting capabilities for more effective mitigation strategies; and formulation/endorsement of specific objectives for regional activities.
