The IODE initiatives to develop the African Marine Atlas and Caribbean Marine Atlas are only 2 of many other Atlas projects. Sharing of expertise as well as investigating ways to improve interoperability between Atlases will benefit us all. It is with this in mind that the IODE Co-Chair, Mr Greg Reed (Australian Ocean Data Centre Joint Facility) would like to organize a small workshop “Coastal Atlas Requirements Workshop” that will discuss atlas development and interoperability and how we could further develop the African and Caribbean Marine Atlases.
