By Assembly resolution XXX-3, IFAG is tasked to :

• Prepare a report on a process to evaluate the impact of constrained regular budget and unstable voluntary contributions on IOC’s intergovernmental mandate, commitments, programmes, governance and operating costs; including the financial implications of the implementation of the Decade;
• Revise the draft version of the IOC Draft Medium-Term Strategy for 2022–2029;
• continue reflecting on the best practices to further enhance the efficiency of the IOC Governing Bodies’ meetings. The group will mainly work by correspondence.

The group will mainly work by correspondence after the issuance of IOC Circular Letter 2774. The group is composed of members from the following Member States: Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Benin, Canada, Colombia, Egypt, France, Japan, Kuwait, Germany, Russian Federation, United States of America (see list). The work of the IOC Intersessional Financial Advisory Group is carried forward by the sessional Financial Committee established when the Assembly or the Executive Council meets in plenary session.
