The newly elected Officers of the Commission are meeting to prepare the forthcoming IOC Executive Council scheduled in Paris on 3-6 July 2018. The meeting is an opportunity for brainstorming on the preparation of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021–2030) and future strategies for the Commission. A teleconference with WMO Officers is also organized on this occasion.
