This conference is organized to provide an overview of the advances in marine meteorological and oceanographic (metocean) observing systems, data management and services developed and continued during the JCOMM 5 intersessional period. The aim is to properly interface the JCOMM management and expert groups with the IOC-WMO Member activities and have them interact with a large community of stakeholders worldwide, gathered at the JCOMM-5 Session.
Important Information: Agung volcano, Bali - Indonesia 29 September As a result of the high risk of eruption of Agung volcano in Bali, it has been decided that the Marine Technical Conference (TECO), JCOMM-5 and all associated WMO meetings be relocated to WMO Headquarters, in Geneva (Switzerland). Dates remain the same in the period from 23 to 29 October. The Secretariat is taking measures to fast-track visa support and other formalities. Information will be sent directly to all registered participants shortly.
