Summary

Within the framework of the Project "Strengthening sea-level observation network and coordination activities in the Caribbean", the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of UNESCO jointly with the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the National Mareographic Service of the Universidad Autónoma de Mexico, is organizing the “Third Caribbean Training Course for Operators of Sea Level Stations,” to be held in Mérida, Mexico 4–9 June, 2012. Requirements for Participants: Duties include the installation/operation/archiving/analysis of sea level stations and data Complete COMET training on Tsunami Warning Systems Laptop with CD/DVD reader Prepare report on sea level stations operated by the country/agency
